It’s been a long, long while since I uploaded a riding video of Race and me. If you watch my video “My Western Riding” and compare this video, you can see a big improvment in Race, as well as my riding. Before I started riding english, I couldn’t ride bareback. However, I could just after riding in an english saddle for a week. It’s amazing how much changing disciplines can help you.
The bareback riding clips were taken on June 20th, and the english riding was from July 1st. I don’t own a pair of breeches or english boots, so I’m wearing what I have.
Note: I don’t need to be criticised on my english riding. I’ve had no huntseat lessons what so ever, so I know there are many mistakes. For example, my posting is absolutely horrible. It looks like I’m overexaggerating it.
The only question I have is “Are my sturrips too long?” I’m new to this discipline, and I’m not sure how they are suppose to be. I’d appreciate it if someone could kindly answer.

I’ve made a few videos of Lauren riding in the past. A few on my old channel, and now, a second one of her, on this channel….riding Jazzy (Megs horse) in a lesson.
I also managed to catch her fun personality after her lesson the other day….when she had changed her clothes, after her ride, (it was HOT), came back into the arena and asked how we liked her outfit!
WELL, not exactly barn attire, but than again, maybe it is!, since she left on her Riding boots! CUUUTE!
Anyway, she’s a FUN girl, AND, a beautiful rider I think.
