horseback riding boots

I have Breeches. Can I wear those?? What about rubber boots?? I don’t have riding boots because my mom gave them away thinking they were the ones that don’t fit…… PLEASE HELP!

You really need to buy some riding boots. Rubber boots are not going to be comfortable or safe.

Pack your breeches. You will need more than one pair. If you only have one, ride in some loose jeans. You should bring 3 outfits and one extra. Make sure you have at least one pair of jeans and a pair of comfortable shoes. You will also need sunscreen, water bottle and bug spray. Pack your toiletries of course as well as PJ’s. Pack 4 pairs of socks. Bring some carrots for your horse.

It’s better to over pack a little than under pack. You will need a fresh change of clothes everyday.

Hey!!! all those horseback riders out there… i have a show coming up in a few weeks… and i am sick if wearing paddock boots and half chaps. And i remeber a year or so ago my trainor said i had to earn my boots by either jumping with no hands and stirrups(im currently at no hands but i cant yet do it without stirrups) or be either 13 14 15 i cant remember help??? im currently 13… but i feel like i have earned them and ive been riding almost six years… i trained my own horse who was abused and i taught him how to jump and everything and he couldnt be schooled by anyone but me cause my trainor has a bad back… i feel like i have earned them… but i need to stick to her rules so what is the age???

I’m pretty sure it’s 13. But I don’t think there’s technically a minimum age I think the rule is if you’re under 13 you CAN wear half chaps but you don’t have to.
