"goo gone" is a good remover and it doesn’t hurt the shoe.it sells for about a dollar or 2. or you can try auto upholstery cleaner or furniture cleaner. i don’t have any Ariat paddock boots so i don’t know. Make sure to check the label of the cleaner first before applying.

I have been fascinated w/ motorcycles since i was a young kid.I wanted 1 so badly i told my parents i’ll get 1 when i became old enough & they just smiled. Now i’m 18, have a job & saved enough money to buy myself one…but they wouldn’t allow me to have one. I took The MSF coarse,Passed it w/ flying colors, bought all my safety gear(helmet boots Gloves & Jacket) in advance. They told me that this day will come & they’re afraid that i might get hurt or even killed. Dad won’t talk to me; Mom was crying. They even offered to co-sign a brand new car, but i told them that i’m set on the bike. And i told them that i’m a safe& responsible rider(even showed them my gear+ my MSF test Results) but they still wouldn’t budge.Even my best buddies dropped by to educate them about riding safety; but to no avail. Why are my parents so not fair about this? Please help…I don’t know what to do, i never wanted a car or any 4 wheeled vehicle for that matter…just a motorcycle. Thank You & God Bless…
Hmmm quite the "Canundrum" that many of us faced growing up ! I bought a bike when I was 26 yrs old, my parents REALLY did NOT want me to have the bike, my father was a Dr in the E.R. and was really against it. I bought the bike, I had an apt. my parents said "Leave the Bike at the house" I did for a week or two, one day I went there and it was gone, my father GAVE it away ! He told me he loved me too much to watch me get "KILLED". You have to understand that safe riding is no gaurantee, most bike riders are killed by someone else not paying attention in a car. I bought a Mustang GT, a few years ago, I worked it up "SICK", super charger, stroker motor, 150 lbs shot of "NOX" etc. "10 second machine". I would take it out at 3 am for some "FUN", one night I was tooling along "Speeding", and two unmarked cop cars came out of no-where on my azz, (rollers lit up) I pulled over, and they raced past me in a real big hurry, about a mile down the road I saw bike hardware splattered all over the road, and that "CREEPY" feeling of "Oh my God It’s a BIKE Accident", to see the body bag, and the bike in a jumbled knot, a young female driver crying and saying "I did’nt even see him", was a very "SOBERING" moment, i’m a father now, and although I was angry at what my parents did, I realized they saved my life. I still remember my father saying "I don’t care if you’re 26 yrs old, have a job, and and apt., it’s MY JOB to make sure that you don’t get "KILLED", you can be as mad at me as you like, someday you’ll be a "FATHER" and understand"….Go for the car kid, you’ll never get that offer again ! TAKE IT !

This summer i have the chance to visit my dad, in the country. I am going to be helping a friend with western horses. I was just wondering if English boots will do the same thing as western boots. or are they totally different. i ride English saddle so i have Ariat English boots.
P.S. i hope this isn’t a stupid question. I would just like to have the right stuff. Thanks. (:
They aren’t tall boots. they look like this
http://www.ariat.com/products_detail.aspx?pcid=8&cid=1&scid=9&pid=254
haha yes it is my bird-sun conure. he is a clown.
Absolutely! One of the barns I take lessons at offers both English and western. Because I ride primarily English, when I DO take a western lesson, I wear breeches, paddock boots, and half chaps. They work absolutely fine for it! There’s no use going out and getting cowboy/western boots if it’s just for a brief time this summer. Oh and at the barn I even see the western riders wearing boots like these (endurance style English boots) with jeans. http://www.ariat.com/products_detail.aspx?pcid=8&cid=1&scid=13&pid=996
But really, I think you’ll be absolutely perfect with what you’ve already got.
Oh, and your bird is adorable! My sister has a sun conure and I have my cockatiel with me as I right this!

I am going to a play at a very nice theatre for school, we are seeing the matinee of A Christmas Carol. I want to wear something really pretty, and I have two suggestions:
CHOICE A-
This dress; http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Dresses/Solid/The+Star+Field+Dress
with flats and a sweater and tights of some kind.
CHOICE 2;
A grey DKNY sweater dress with a multi-coloured collar, red tights, and Equestrian Boots.
Vote, or make a suggestion! If you can, say why you made this decision.
Thanks!
A, but I wouldn’t wear tights with it, its too pretty to be ruined by tights, plus tights and a nice dress like that just wouldn’t go together.

I need riding boots for 3 day eventing shows… I dont have a very wide budget (about $120)… I have a size 9 1/2 shoe, and a slim calf… I am 5′2" tall, and have long legs… I could spend more money, but id like not to…
Id like a zip back
plz help
leather would be awesome, but not nessesary
I’m an eventer, and I have some Ovation field boots with the zipper back. I got them for a little over $100 (maybe $125) when they were on sale from Dover. http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-3863
I’ve had them for about a year now and they seem to be holding up well.

I’d like to start horse riding and wonder weather I could wear my ordinary tall leather boots which have:
(1) They have a zip on the inside of the leg (rather than the back or the outside which I notice is on Horse riding boots).
(2) They have a heal of 1 inch or 2.5 cm (rather than small heal)
(3) They have chunky soles (rather than flat sole)
Would these boots be suitable?
Also, other boots I have are calf ones with the following:
(1) Zip on the inside leg
(2) Laces up the front which keep coming undone by themselves which might be dangerous.
(3) A 1.5 inch or 3.75 cm heal.
Would be boots be alright? I worry about the laces undoing.
i would reccomend it until you get your own pair of boots. i also reccomend paddock boots paired with half chaps. those are the short boots. the reason i reccomend getting your own pair is because ordinary boots dont provide the same support as boots meant for riding. half chaps also provide support for your leg and if you ride with jeans, they prevent saddle sores.
