I need size 9 with like a really really slim calf. Is that even possible to find? The boots that I have are fine on the foot but they’re really big on the calf.
I need something that’s under $100 and NOT rubber.
Thanks a lot!

Ohkay well does anyone have any tips so that im not so sore after my next lesson?! And is there any way to break in my Riding boots faster? I just got a new pair and i need them broken in soon! Thanks guys (;
I’ve just gotten new boots as well. Even if you’re not horseback riding, try walking around in them a lot, like to the grocery store or while doing things around the house. Also, you’ll probably always be a little sore after your lessons, but a way to help that is to ride without stirrups sometimes (which will make things more sore at first) but it will strengthen your muscles. Also, try working out a little bit, and you’ll find that you’ll do better in your lessons. Have fun riding!!

I am going to begin riding lessons western style. I used to do English when i was younger… I was just wondering whats a good brand/style for what i wanna do.
I would go with Ariat boots they are so comfortable and durable. I would go with either the lace-up roper or the regular roper. These have the short riding heel on them so they wouldn’t be much different from your everyday shoes. The taller heel is to me is uncomfortable like wearing high heels and there really is no need for a taller heel when riding. I own a pair of lace-up ropers by Ariat. This my second pair of Ariat boots and I will continue to buy that brand.

I have a pair of long black Aigle riding boots – can I wear these for showjumping? Or should I wear jodhpur boots and chaps? Which is best? It’s just a local show but we will be judged on best dressed also!
Thanks!
black long Riding boots are best if you are on a horse,
Jod boots and jod clips if you are on a pony, however for showjumping long bootsa are perfectly fine.

i cant find any for him in his size, hes a size 7 in children’s sizes (obviously) does any one know of a good retailer in the uk or a good website pllleeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeeee i really need some boots for him, he starts in 2 weeks.
amazon.com usually has some good things…most places will let you wear basically anything for the first lessons, as long as it has a heel so his foot won’t fall out of the stirrup. Call them about this if you can’t find anything. Hiking boots will even work, worst case!

Do you like the swish of the horse whip, either aimed at you, or you aiming it at a nice pair of round cheeks in tight jodhpurs? Then here is the Vicar’s wife Mrs Penelope McPhee flexing her long “dressage” whip. I have feeling that she may be thinking of her husband while doing this. Or could it perhaps be one of her husband’s deserving parishioners? (www.PoshHo.com)

Puma is known for their athletic shoes, which is why their newly re-imagined Streetcat model boot is such a revelation to the fashion world. The new Black Label Streetcat Reluxe is an equestrian style boot with a slim, pull on shaft made from matte suede and a glossy leather finish. The Puma brand’s signature curved pattern is tastefully stitched into the boot’s foot to complete the sleek and modern effect. But the major thing going for this boot is that it’s just so darn comfortable compared to other Equestrian Boots out there, something that Puma designers were able to pull off using their athletic wear expertise. So if you’re looking for a new boot this winter, Puma has pounced ahead with one of the season’s most surprisingly fashionable options. You can order a pair of Puma Black Label Speedcat Reluxe boots for 390 dollars at Puma.Com. I’m HOST for TrendySwag.Com. Keep checking back for more style tips and fashion trends of 2008!
